Expected to be perfect, docile and secondary to men – women are supposed to meet those innumerable criteria.
Somya, the brain behind Zaza, wanted to challenge this notion and create something that would reflect the modern, free-spirited women. .The idea was to create a jewellery line that would cater to every character, every mood, every colour, everybody- an all-inclusive line in its truest sense. She wanted the person wearing her pieces to able to relate to the jewellery.
Her pieces are inspired by Indic elements and is representative of the fearless females of the Vedic era. The jewellery is edgy yet elegant to signify the femininity that is present in every woman, no matter their personality.
Each of the jewellery pieces is handcrafted by skilled karigars and has a lot of earthiness to it. The brand wanted to hail the many shades of women- Tender and Loving, Bold and Fierce. One look at the pieces and one would understand the thought behind it. The entire line is an embodiment of the essence of womanhood.
The uniqueness of the designs sets its apart. Jewellery by ZaZa isn’t just the run of the mill dainty jewellery. One can see the influence of Mother Nature and how it has been related to the varying personalities of the modern women.
